Infrared Optics Technical Specs
Laser Windows
Features:
  • Transparency from UV to mid-IR
  • Near Zero Lensing Coefficient
  • Corrosion resistant
  • Very low absorption
  • Up to 39" diameter x 1" windows produced
IFS offers bulk infrared glass for use as windows and lightpipes. IFS oxyfluoride glass (OFG™) windows are being developed for the Air Force Airborne Laser (ABL) Program and for Navy shipboard applications. Windows up to 39 inches diameter and 1 inch thick have been produced in a new JTO-sponsored window manufacturing facility.
